BlackBerry's leaked roadmap shows A10 and 9720 as the only releases this year

It looks like BlackBerry’s smart phone roadmap for the year has just leaked. The company will be looking at releasing two new phones – BlackBerry A10 and BlackBerry 9720 – this year.
According to a report by BGR, sources have confirmed that these two handsets will be the only phones the Canadian company will launch this year. The publication has also managed to furbishleaked images of the purported handsets.
First up is the BlackBerry A10 that was previously code-named “Aristo”. The phone – essentially a “less-aggressive” looking version of theBlackBerry Z10 – will sport a huge5-inch SuperAMOLED screen. It will have a 2GB RAM and a dual-core processor. The report suggests that BlackBerry’s jump to quad-core chips isn’t looking possible thanks to the company's concerns over battery lifeand optimisationof the BB10 software.
The phone will also be featuring separate CPU and GPU processors, with a siliconstructure like the iPhone’s. Sources say that thephone could be expected sometime late this fall.
The BlackBerry 9720, on the other hand, seems like a reboot of theBlackBerry 9700 with elements of its new Q10 thrown in. The handset goes on to look nothinglike these two devicesdid and has a massive redesign. The BlackBerry 9720 is expected to replace the BlackBerry 9700 and will not be as aggressively priced as the BlackBerry A10.
These are pretty much all the smartphones you will see from theBlackBerry stable this year, the report has said. There could probably be a few market-specific variants but that will be all.
