Samsung UA Prof file reveals 1080p display for Galaxy Note

It seems UA Prof files are the hottest source of leaks nowadays. After HTC revealed its HTC One Mini through this filing, details of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 have also emerged from the source.
Samsung’s UA Prof file for the upcoming phone shows that it will have a 1080p display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Samsung may have gone with Intel for its latest range of tablets, but for the note, the company will definitely be using ARM processors, according to the filing.
Various rumours place its display size anywhere between 5.7 inches and 6.3 inches, the screen size of the Galaxy Mega 6.3. The phone will most likely have two variants based on different processors, just like the galaxy S4. While the S4’s LTE version got the snapdragon 600, the Note 3 might get the more powerful Snapdragon 800, which will also power the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and a host of other high-end devices later this year.
Samsung will most likely go with the same 13 megapixel camera module for the Note 3, the same one which is used in the S4. In addition, there will be enhanced OIS capabilities , S-Orb for shooting panoramas and other new camera-related features. We don’t expect too many changes in the software side of things, with the latest version of TouchWiz already bringing many new additions. But the S-Pen capabilities will most likely be improved. With Sony already announcing a smartphone that works with almost any kind of regular pen or pencil, Samsung may also look for a similar technology in the Note 3. The Note 3 is expected to be unveiled at IFA in Berlin in September.
