Rovio Account globally availablefor iOS and Android devices

Rovio Account is now available for iOS and Android devices globally – a step further in thecompany’s gradualrollout plans for thenew feature.
Released this year, Rovio Account letsplayers save theirgame progress and continue playing on another device. The feature was introducedafter Rovio fans began asking the company for a way to play their game across devices without losingtheir progress. As it stands now, Rovio Account is available on the original Angry Birds game and The Croods, and will be rolled out to other Angry Birds and non Angry Birds titles in thefuture.
“We know that you've all been waiting for a way to sync progress between devicesand we really feel that we have an amazing solutionin placenow,” says thecompany inits announcement.
At the time of its launch, Rovio Account was available inThe Croods game globally and in theoriginal Angry Birds game on iOS inFinland and Poland. The company had at that time promisedthat they would continue bringing it to newer regions in themonths to come.
Rovio currently is also gearing up to introduce thenext installation of its hugely successfulAngry Birds series. The new game, titledAngry Birds Go!, will be releasing later inthe year and apparently bringsusers closer than they have ever been to Piggy Island.
The new game, according to Rovio, is like nothingseen before. An animated trailer that thecompany has releasedshows thepossibility of thenewest installation being some sort of a racing game. How Rovio is planning to do this is still unclear, as thecompany has not revealed much about the new release.
