While the rumoured KarbonnS6 with 1080p display has been hitting headlines,the company has quietly launched the new Smart A27+ smartphone. Following thetrend of phablets, it sports a 5-inch qHD display. The Smart A27+ is up for grabs online fora price of Rs 8,999.
The Smart A27+ appears to be an entry level device with 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM. It equips a 2000 mAh battery that claims to offer 7 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby time. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. The smartphone is available in black and white colours. However, the A27+ isn’t listed on the company's official website yet.

Earlier this month, Karbonn had launched the Titanium S9
with 5.5-inch HD IPS display. The S9 is fuelled by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It has 13MP rear camera and 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Karbonn launched at higher price of Rs 19,990.
