Images of Nokia tablet appear online 10.1-inch device spotted running Windows 8 RT

It has been rumoured for longer than any of us can remember and was even shown on a promotional screen some months back. But to date, nothing concrete has appeared regarding the Nokia's Windows tablet. That might just have changed.
Yes, a real Nokia tablet has been spotted and held by a member of the WPC forums. A 10.1-inch tablet with Nokia branding, although it could just be a prototype device cast aside by the Finnish giant. Indeed, the person snapping it claims this particular model with NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core process or and WindowsRT was 'dropped' after initial testing. It was also said to have 2GB RAM, HDMI-out, USB connectivity, a microSIM card slot, and a 16-point touch touchscreen.
But Nokia has hinted about a tablet, so could this be one device on the path to the final design? There's a good chance it could be. The tablet market is still quite new and constantly evolving. Maybe Nokia decided this was a little too 'weighty' for the 2013.
Regardless of where this tablet stands in Nokia's past, there is a good chance that Nokia will launch one eventually. Just don't expect to see one at this week's launch event.
