App updatesyou should know: Facebook, Quora, Tumblr and more!

There are a bunch of updates that have come in this week on both iOS and Android that will make using your favourite apps a lot more fun. From Facebook to Quora, here’s a list of all the updates that have hit Apple and Google stores in the past few days.
Facebook for iOS
The social networking service has updated its iOS application to make it easier for users to find verified pages as they browse through. The smooth looking white check mark with a blue background will now appear beside users and pages that have been verified as official by Facebook.
Other updatesto the app includean improvedplaces editingto help owners fix categories, phone numbers and other information on the iPad. Facebook has also fixed a problem that caused the News Feed to load slowly for some users on their iOS devices.

YouTube for PlayStation 3
Google has pushed out an update forits PlayStation 3 app forthe first time this year. With this update, you can send videos from your mobile devicesto your TV sets. This new feature called “Send to TV” allows you to send videos from a phone or tablet that has theYouTube app installed.
This feature will work from iOS as well as Android devices. The update will be rollingout over thenext few days on your PlayStation 3s.
Path
The private social networking and messaging service has updated its appsfor Android, iPadand iPhone. The update is bringing along an improvednavigation for iPad. Now you will also be able to usethe famous Path stickers while replying to comments in themain timeline. You will also be able to inviteyour friends to follow you with a QR code.

Tumblr
Content discovery is on Tumblr’s mind with this update forAndroid and iOS devices,the first one after it was taken over by Yahoo for $1.1 millionlast year. The iOS and Android appsnow have a “brand new” discovery experience that will let you search for more content easily. You will now be able to search and explore trending tags and blogs as well as follow recommended blogs with any tag you search.

Quora for iOS
The question and answer-based social network has a feature-full update forits iOS application. The update will let you add questionsin an easier manner as well as make drafts.
Using your iOS apps, you will now be able to check for existing questionsand answers easilywhile adding a question to avoid duplications on the website. You will be able to add suggested topics to get an answer to your questionsquicker. The app will now also let you save draftsof your writings. These will be synced between web and mobileeasily. You can manage saved draftsfrom the profiletab.
